The brief
A booking site lives or dies on whether you believe it.
Booking a halal-friendly holiday usually means six tabs open. One for the hotel, another to check whether it really is halal, a third for reviews you half trust, and a fourth to work out whether the price is any good. It is tiring, and it is why people give up and settle.
So the interesting problem was not the booking flow. It was trust — which meant reviews and recommendations had to sit beside the price rather than three clicks in, and the price had to be something you could sanity-check without leaving the page.
The approach
Designed around how people browse, not how a database is organised.
The decision leads, the reassurance follows
Where, when, how much — then the proof, right next to it. Somebody looking for a family holiday and somebody looking for a quiet week away want different things from the same page.
Reviews sit beside the price
Not buried three clicks in. If trust is the thing being sold, it belongs where the money decision is being made.
Built from the phone up
Most holiday browsing happens on a sofa, on a phone, half-watching something else.
Comparison made obvious
Enough context on the page to feel confident without opening five more.
